Zelensky calls on China to force Russia ending the war
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his address to the UN General Assembly on Tuesday that China could, if it so wished, force Russia to end the war in Ukraine.
“Without China, Putin’s Russia is worthless… Yet China often remains silent and distances itself instead of working for peace,” Zelensky said.
Also, at the UN General Assembly, China’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Geng Shuang, said, “From the first day of the crisis, China has maintained an objective and impartial position, calling for a cessation of hostilities and advocating for peace talks aimed at reaching a political solution”.
Zelensky praised US support for his country, stressing that Kyiv “agreed to all of the US president’s proposals for a ceasefire and talks with Russia to establish peace”.
He added, “We rely on America’s moves to push Russia toward peace… Moscow fears America and listens to what it says”.
On this regard, US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that Kyiv is capable of winning its war against Russia!
He even said that Ukrainians are capable of completely reclaiming their country, “and maybe even going further!”
