Türkiye impose 40% tariffs on Chinese cars
According to a report from the Turkish Official Gazette, a presidential decree imposed an additional 40% customs duties on cars imported from China.
The minimum surcharge is $7,000 per car, and it will take effect from July 7, as the minimum fee applies even if the fee of 40% of the car price is less than $7,000.
Last year, Türkiye imposed duties on imports of electric vehicles from China and introduced some regulations on the maintenance and services of these cars.
