Trump: Fordo is finished!
US President Donald Trump confirmed Sunday morning that Iran’s Fordo nuclear facility no longer exists, referring to its destruction in a US airstrike on three major nuclear sites inside Iran.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote a brief, controversial phrase: “Fordo is gone,” referring to Iran’s fortified underground nuclear facility, one of the most sensitive sites in the country’s nuclear program.
The attack, which was officially announced after midnight, targeted three strategic facilities: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, all considered vital to Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.
Trump wrote in his post, “We’ve carried out a very successful attack on all three nuclear sites in Iran… All aircraft involved left Iranian airspace, and a full load of bombs were dropped on the main site at Fordo… The pilots are now safely returning home… Congratulations to our great American forces—no other military could have carried out such a mission”.
Trump concluded his statement by saying, “Now, the time is for peace… Thank you for your concern”.
