Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni forces affiliated with Ansar Allah, announced in a statement Sunday evening that there are options for escalation against Israel regarding the ongoing war of extermination and starvation in the Gaza Strip.

A Houthi spokesman said that the Yemeni armed forces had decided to escalate their support operations and begin implementing the fourth phase of the naval blockade of Israel.

Saree added that this phase includes targeting all ships belonging to any company that deals with Israeli ports, regardless of the company’s nationality, and in any location within reach of the armed forces.

The Yemeni forces warned all companies to halt their dealings with Israeli ports as of the time of this announcement, stressing that their ships, regardless of their destination, will be targeted anywhere they can be reached or are within range of our missiles and drones.

They also called on all countries, if they wish to avoid this escalation, to pressure Israel to halt its aggression and lift the siege on the Gaza Strip, stressing that no free person on this earth can accept what is happening.

The spokesman emphasized that the actions of the Yemeni Armed Forces reflect their moral and humanitarian commitment to the plight of the Palestinian people, explaining that all military operations will cease immediately upon the cessation of aggression against Gaza and the lifting of the blockade.

He pointed out that this decision was taken in light of the rapid developments in occupied Palestine, specifically in the Gaza Strip, including the ongoing war of genocide and the martyrdom of thousands of Palestinians as a result of the ongoing aggression and siege for months, amidst shameful Arab, Islamic and international silence.

Yahya Saree stressed that, in the face of the continuation of these horrific, brutal massacres, unprecedented in modern history, Yemen finds itself facing a religious, moral, and humanitarian responsibility toward the oppressed who are subjected daily, around-the-clock, to killing and destruction by air, land, and sea bombardment, and to starvation and thirst as a result of the suffocating and severe blockade, something that no human being can accept.
