The Turkish army evacuates the “Jabal Andan” observation post in Aleppo

The observation point in “Jabal Anadan” in the northern countryside of Aleppo was completely devoid of any presence of the Turkish army.

It is the last point within the control of the Syrian government in Aleppo, which has not witnessed any withdrawals of the Turkish forces from it during the past two months.

Civil sources in Andan revealed that more than 15 trucks belonging to the Turkish army, on Saturday evening, loaded the remainder of its military and logistical equipment from the “Jabal Anadan” point, which it established in mid-2018, and in the morning the third point in the countryside of Aleppo, which He abandoned permanently after “southern al Rashideen” and “Kourani”, which are located south of Aleppo and along the international road linking Aleppo with Hama, known as the “M5” road.

The sources added that the Turkish army began withdrawing the soldiers and equipment of “Mount Andan” since last Wednesday and gradually, accompanied by Russian military police vehicles, and pointed out that the Turkish forces completely destroyed their position in the point before withdrawing from it and that the retreating columns headed to the western countryside of Aleppo, where the areas are located.

The control of armed militias loyal to the Turkish regime and from there to its observation points in Jabal al Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib, south of the Aleppo-Latakia highway or the M4 highway.

The “Jabal Andan” point is located in a strategic area in terms of its supervision over the surrounding areas, but it became a “burned” point during the Syrian Army’s control of the area at the end of last February.

Since last November 10, the Turkish army began evacuating the two observation points in the “Qubatan al Jabal” in the western countryside of Aleppo and “Southern al Rashideen” before adding to them a checkpoint “Khan Tuman” in the southern countryside of the governorate on the 9th of this month, then “Kourani” and the green plateau.
