The Houthis announces targeting the city of Eilat and a US ship in the Red Sea
The Yemeni Houthis announced on Sunday that it targeted the city of Eilat in southern Israel with ballistic missiles, and a US ship in the Red Sea, and achieved direct hits.
The group’s military spokesman, Yahya Saree, said in a televised speech, “We carried out a qualitative military operation targeting a vital area in Eilat, south of Israel, with a number of ballistic missiles and achieved its objectives”.
“We targeted a US ship in the Red Sea with a number of ballistic missiles and drones and hit it directly,” he said.
Saree stressed “Our operations won’t stop until the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip stops”.
He also vowed that a response to Israel’s latest offensive on Hodeidah is coming and will be great.
