John Mearsheimer: We must admit that Russia has won and the Western allies can no longer do anything to help Kiev
American international relations expert John Mearsheimer stressed in an interview on YouTube that the West must recognize the fact that Russia is winning on the battlefield.
Mearsheimer added, via “Unherd” channel on YouTube, that the Western allies can no longer do anything to help Kiev, because they no longer have weapons, he said.
According to Mearsheimer, the United States and the West don’t have industrial bases for the production of artillery systems, shells and tanks that the Ukrainians need.
On the other hand, Russian forces continue their rapid advance in various directions on the front line, as Russian army leaders and government officials confirmed that Ukrainian forces are retreating and leaving their positions to distances of several kilometers.
On October 30, the Russian Defense Ministry stated that its forces had liberated Kruglyakovka in the Kharkiv region, defeated Ukrainian brigades, and repelled five counterattacks, with the Ukrainians losing about 410 soldiers.
The head of the Russian administration in the Kharkov region, Vitaly Gantshev, explained that controlling Kruglyakovka meant cutting off one of the important supply routes for the Ukrainians, as the Ukrainian forces found themselves isolated on the right bank of the Oskol River in the region, adding that the Russian forces had the advantage in terms of forces and combat plans over the Ukrainian forces in the direction of Kupyansk.
