Israeli Defense Minister: The war will be long and its price will be high
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant confirmed to US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on Monday his expectation of igniting a long and complex war against the Hamas movement.
Gallant pointed out that this war will come at a high cost, but it will be successful, stressing Israel’s commitment to defending the values and national security of the Jewish people.
On the other hand, Blinken returned to Israel on Monday for the second time since the conflict began.
During his visit, he undertook an Arab tour with the aim of directing international support against the Hamas movement and searching for solutions to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
It’s worth noting that there are reports indicating the intention of US President Joe Biden to visit Israel in the near future, as an expression of his strong support for the country and his commitment to providing it with additional military support.
