Egyptian source responds to Israeli allegations of finding Tunnels at the borders with Egypt
A high-level source in the Egypt responded to Israeli media reports about the existence of operating tunnels between Egypt and the Gaza Strip.
The Egyptian source said that this confirms that what is rumored is an Israeli escape from its failure in the Gaza Strip, denying the existence of any operating tunnels between Egypt and the Gaza Strip.
He noted that Israel turn a blind eye to arms smuggling operations from Israel to the West Bank to find a justification for seizing West Bank land and committing more killing and extermination of Palestinians.
He pointed out that no evidence has been provided of the existence of tunnels operating on the border of the Strip and that the closed tunnels in Gaza are being used to spread false claims to achieve political goals.
The Israeli army has deployed troops of the 162nd Division and the Yahalom unit along the Egyptian border with the Gaza Strip, combing the border area and searching for tunnels scattered in the area.
