Another corruption case hit SDF: SDF official steals millions of oil money
Syrian opposition media sources revealed that an employee of the SDF militia administration had diverted more than one billion US dollars in stolen oil revenues from the Syrian oil fields.
The sources said that the SDF administration tried to keep the matter secret, because the shadow man in the embezzlement process is “Shiar Masur”, who is considered the most prominent leader of the “PKK”, as he and 6 people embezzled more than one billion US dollars during his tenure in an institution SADCOP for 7 years.
The sources added that the SDF militia had nominally arrested the gang members, including “Shiar”, who was previously arrested earlier this year by the organized crime department in the city of Qamishli, which is affiliated with the militia.
The sources explained that one of the most prominent methods of corruption and embezzlement is the sale of tanks with a capacity of between 30 thousand liters and 40 thousand liters of diesel and gasoline, which were initially refined, to some stations without entering the records of the SADCOP administration, and mixing primitive refined gasoline, which is sold for 210 Syrian pounds.
With imported gasoline by a third, whose price reached 2,900 Syrian pounds, in addition to manipulating the price of adulterated imported gasoline during the rise in the price of the dollar and refusing to reduce it with the improvement of the Syrian pound.
According to local media, the SDF militia, since its control over the Syrian institutions in the east, appointed a cadre from outside Syria “the Kurds of Turkey and Iran”, which explains the worsening state of corruption in the ranks of the SDF militia that controls the so-called “Self-Administration”.
Among these cadres is “Ali al Shir,” an Iranian Kurd, who is the financial official in the SDF administration.
The city of Ras al Ain to the city of al Malikiyah in the province of Hasakah, on the Iraqi border, which is considered one of the most fertile lands, so that it has a monopoly on the purchase at the cheapest prices.
