After his visit to Moscow… the Syrian President arrived to Abu Dhabi
The Syrian President Bashar al Assad arrived on Sunday afternoon in the United Arab Emirates on an official visit, during which he is accompanied by his wife.
According to the Syrian presidency statement: Assad arrived on Sunday afternoon to Abu Dhabi on an official visit, during which he is accompanied by the First Lady, Asma al Assad.
The statement added, “President Assad was received upon his arrival at the presidential airport in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
The statement indicated that they went to Qasr al Watan in the capital, Abu Dhabi, to start the talks.
An UAE airforce jets accompanied President Assad’s plane upon entering the airspace of the UAE, according to welcoming protocol.
Upon his arrival at the presidential residence, the Syrian President received an official reception ceremony, where President Mohammed bin Zayed accompanied him to the podium of honor and the national anthem of the Syrian Arab Republic was played, while artillery fired 21 rounds and the guard of honor lined up to salute him.
The Syrian president is accompanied by a delegation of ministers and high rank Syrian officials.
Also, the Syrian first lady Asma al Assad will meet with the “Mother of the Emirates,” Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation.
