An Israeli military spokesman said a drone was launched toward Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s home in Caesarea, northern Israel, on Saturday, adding that the prime minister and his wife weren’t in the area and there were no injuries.

This morning, Israeli media reported that a drone exploded in a building in the city of Caesarea, near Netanyahu’s home, resulting in a number of injuries.

Israeli media reported that for the first time, sirens were activated in Tel Aviv without being activated on the Home Front Command application on phones.

Channel 12 Israel reported that 3 drones infiltrated from Lebanon into the areas of Nahariya, Acre and Haifa Bay, and the army intercepted one of them.

Israeli media reported that it’s not clear whether Netanyahu was present at his home in Caesarea this morning, and his office refused to comment on that.

Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that security forces and ambulance teams were sent to the location of the drone crash, noting that the target of the attack was Netanyahu’s home.

“There was no warning, we just heard a loud bang, it was at a time when people were going to the synagogue, fortunately no one was hurt… It could have ended very badly,” eyewitness said.
