Under US pressure to end the Russia-Ukraine war, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that his country will present Washington with a revised peace plan that includes 20 points, stressing that it doesn’t include any territorial concession, in compliance with the Ukrainian constitution.

This followed talks held by Zelensky in London with the leaders of France, Germany and Britain, where he stressed that any agreement must respect Ukraine’s sovereignty and ensure its long-term security.

In a video posted on his accounts, he explained that the US position tends in principle to find a compromise.

Zelensky’s comments come as Kyiv is under pressure from the White House to quickly agree to a peace settlement, at a time when there have been no serious signs of Ukraine or Russia being willing to sign the framework agreement drafted by US President Donald Trump’s negotiators.

Last week, Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner presented Moscow with a revised plan before holding a round of talks with Ukrainian officials in Miami that ended without tangible progress.

Zelensky described those discussions as constructive but stressed that they weren’t easy.

Trump on Sunday expressed his disappointment with Zelensky, accusing him of not being aware of the recent proposals backed by the United States.
