Yet Another Israeli attack on Syria: Israeli shelling targets the vicinity of the Syrian capital

The official Syrian news agency, SANA, said that two soldiers were wounded in an Israeli air strike on the outskirts of the capital, Damascus.
SANA quoted a Syrian military source as saying, “The Israeli enemy carried out an air aggression, at dawn on Thursday, with a number of missiles from the direction of the occupied Golan, targeting some points in the vicinity of the city of Damascus… Our air defenses intercepted the aggression’s missiles and shot down some of them.”
The source explained, “The bombing resulted in the injury of two soldiers and some material losses.”
For years, the sites of the Syrian forces and groups affiliated with Iran in Syria have been subjected to repeated Israeli bombardment, the last of which, on the 22nd of this month, targeted Aleppo International Airport and resulted in it being out of service for 3 days.
