Two people were killed and seven others were injured and gas poisoned by the Turkish army firing live bullets and tear gas to break up a sit-in on the Aleppo-Latakia M4 road in Idlib governorate, northern Syria, today, Sunday.

The German news agency (dpa) quoted from multiple sources that, the Turkish army and police officers tried to persuade the protesters to open the road for the entry of four Russian cars, but the protesters refused, which led the Turkish army to storm and launch tear gas and live bullets, killing two people and wounding seven others. Wounded and suffocated by tear gas.
The sit-in of Karama began on the 13th of last March in protest against the Russian-Turkish agreement on the fifth of last March, which calls for the opening of the Aleppo-Latakia road to the passage of joint Russian-Turkish patrols.
The protesters refuse to enter the Russian patrol into the areas controlled by the opposition factions, as these forces are partners with the Syrian regime, and their planes and forces have killed and wounded hundreds of civilians and destroyed thousands of homes, in the provinces of Idlib and Hama.
