The commander of the Syria Democratic Forces “SDF” Mazloum Abdi, revealed that one of the options being considered by his forces to face the upcoming Turkish operation against them in eastern Euphrates, is to partner with the Syrian government forces to confront Turkey.

In an interview with NBC News, Abdi expressed concern about possible Turkish military action and called on the American people to pressure President Trump to help.

In this context, Russia announced that it had contacted representatives of the Syrian government and representatives of Kurdish forces in eastern Euphrates, with the aim of starting dialogue between the two sides on the eastern Euphrates region in light of Turkish threats to launch a military operation.

The Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, according to the Russian news agency “RIA Novosti”, he “contacted representatives of the Syrian government and representatives of the Kurdish side and encouraged them to start dialogue to resolve the problems of the east of the Euphrates”.

Lavrov said that dialogue between the two parties is the only option to achieve stability in the region.

It is not yet known whether the negotiations between the Kurdish forces and the Syrian government will precede the results of the Turkish military operation that began.

However, it is possible in this short time that the Kurds to hand over their areas to the Syrian army to turn the scene east of the Euphrates and withdraw the pretext from the hands of Ankara.
