Former U.S. President Donald Trump has warned of possible death and destruction if he’s charged with criminal offenses, hours after New York prosecutors investigating his hush-hush payment to porn actress Stormy Daniels said they wouldn’t be intimidated.

Trump’s post early Friday on his media site Truth Social was the latest in a series of verbal attacks on Manhattan Attorney General Alvin Bragg since Saturday, when Trump wrongly predicted he would be arrested three days later.

Trump claims that his defeat in 2020 is the result of fraud, an allegation that inspired his supporters to launch a deadly attack on January 6, 2021 on the US Congressional Building Capitol in a failed attempt to prevent Congress from ratifying the election of Democratic President Joe Biden, who exceeded Republican Trump by more than Seven million votes.

Trump, who is seeking to run for the 2024 elections on behalf of the Republican Party, wrote, “Who can accuse another, in this case, a former president of the United States who received more votes than any other president in history, and who is the leading candidate so far to represent the Republican Party, of a crime”.

At a time when everyone knows that no crime was committed and it is also known that the potential death and destruction in a false accusation like this could be disastrous for our country.

Stormy Daniels said she was paid to remain silent about a sexual encounter with Trump in 2006.

Trump denies ever having had a relationship with Daniels, calling the payment a simple private transaction.

He said he hadn’t committed a crime and described the investigation as politically motivated.

The Manhattan grand jury investigating Trump won’t meet again until next week.

In other cases, prosecutors in the State of Georgia are investigating Trump’s attempts to change the outcome of the elections he lost there, and a special federal council is investigating his attempts to change the outcome of the elections, turn the loss into a victory, and remove secret documents from the White House after the end of his presidency.
