Trump launches a new social network
Former US President Donald Trump announced on Thursday, the launch of a new social network, similar to Twitter and Facebook.
The Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG), on Thursday, posted a new statement, in which it confirmed that the former US president had announced the launch of the Trump Social network.
The Trump Group said it would become a publicly listed company or group as an alternative to liberal media, and would launch a social network called “TRUTH Social”.
Trump claimed that the Taliban has a large presence on Twitter, while he was silenced, despite being a former president of the United States, about tweeting on the same social network, which prompted him to consider launching a new social network.
Donald Trump indicated that the new social networking platform will be launched, in a beta, next month, and will be available to the public in the first quarter of next year.
It is reported that Donald Trump, the former US president, has threatened, more than once, to create a new and different social network, after his accounts were closed on the Twitter, Facebook and Instagram platforms.
