Three Israeli ministers… 3 accidents in less than a week

During the last four days, three Israeli ministers were involved in separate incidents in different areas, some of which resulted in physical injuries and material damage, but no serious injuries were recorded.

Itamar Ben Gvir

Extremist National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir – Friday, April 26: Israeli media confirmed that Itamar Ben Gvir was involved in a traffic accident near the city of Ramla, which led to his being transferred to the hospital.

According to Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper Ben Gvir’s car overturned as he was leaving the site of an attack in a settlement in Ramla. Later he was transferred to Shamir Hospital in Be’er Yaakov, and his condition is stable.

The minister’s office issued a statement in which he indicated, “Minister Ben Gvir’s car was involved in a traffic accident, and his condition is good, but he will continue to receive treatment at Assaf Harofeh Hospital”.

According to report, Ben Gvir’s daughter and his bodyguard were also injured in the traffic accident.

Haim Biton

Israeli Minister of Education Haim Biton – Saturday, April 27: Israeli media reported that Minister Haim Biton’s car was involved in a traffic accident in the city of Jerusalem, and his father was seriously injured.

Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that the accident occurred in Jerusalem when the minister’s car collided with a bus, resulting in two other people being injured.

The Israeli police stated that the accident occurred at the intersection of Mirsky and Ranti Streets in the Ramot neighborhood, and that they were investigating the causes of the accident.

The police didn’t clarify though whether the minister was inside the car at the time of the accident or not.

Benny Gantz

The Minister at the war Cabinet, Benny Gantz – Monday, April 29: The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation explained that Minister Benny Gantz was injured in the leg during a bicycle trip near Kibbutz Yad Mordechai.

Gantz underwent an examination at Tel Hashomer Hospital, and it was found that he was suffering from a fracture in his foot.

He is expeted to be released from the hospital within hours, after further tests are conducted.
