European economic data revealed, Monday, that the percentage of fullness of natural gas storage warehouses in Germany decreased during the past week, to 164.6 terawatt-hours; That is, 67% of the total warehouse capacity, while the average fullness rate, at this time of the year, during the past five years, was only 53%.
Data from the European Gas Infrastructure Foundation indicated that the filling rate, in the previous week, was 68% of total capacity.
According to Bloomberg Agency, Germany and Italy recorded the largest weekly change in fullness rates during the week ending April 27.
At the same time, Poland’s warehouses were the lowest in terms of the percentage of fullness among the European Union countries, and the average percentage of fullness, during the last five years, in Poland is the lowest among the European Union countries.
France came in second place in terms of the lowest filling percentage, compared to the average percentage over five years, while Austria and Hungary were the highest in terms of comparing the warehouse filling percentage, during the past week, with the average percentage over the past five years.
