The US army withdraws 50 soldiers from eastern Syria towards Iraq
The US army withdrew a number of its vehicles and soldiers from eastern Syria towards the northern region of Iraq, while it imposed a security cordon with gunmen loyal to it around the town of the eastern countryside of Deir al Zour, while targeting operations continued against them in the same area.
And civil sources in Hasakeh reported that the US army transported a number of military vehicles with about 50 soldiers from its illegal base in the countryside of the city of al Malikiyah in the northeastern province of Hasakeh through the illegal al Waleed crossing, to the northern region of Iraq, for the second time during the past two days.
These developments coincide with media reports about the current US administration’s intention to withdraw its soldiers from eastern Syria, especially after the changes made by US President Donald Trump, and included Defense Secretary “Mark Esper” and appointing “Christopher Miller” instead, who also made changes.
Among the military commanders, including Colonel Douglas MacGregor, known for his repeated calls for withdrawal from Syria, was appointed as the first advisor to the Pentagon.
In a separate context, local sources in the Deir al Zour countryside in Hasakeh confirmed the killing of Saeed al Ahmad al Yaseen, a former member of SDF organization, as a result of unknown assailants riding a motorcycle this afternoon (Saturday, November 14), shooting at him near the junction of the village al Hussiya.
In the city of Shuhail, east of Deir al Zour, while the gunmen fled.
The sources added that the attacks against the SDF organization members are continuing, as 4 of its militants were killed in separate attacks on the points of spread and the axes that move their groups in Hasake and Deir al Zour countryside during the past hours.
In the same context, local sources said in the town of “al Sabha” in the eastern countryside of Deir al Zour, that the US army deployed a number of its military armored vehicles on the main and branch roads of the town, on Saturday, when it imposed a security cordon around the town with militants loyal to it from the SDF organization to start a campaign of raids and a series of arrests against residents.
The US army and the militants loyal to it from the SDF organization have intensified their military operations in the regions and towns that witnessed a popular tribal uprising against its illegal presence in the recent period, as it arrested a large number of the rebellious Arab tribes.
