The Syrian president and his wife to visit China on Thursday
The Syrian President Bashar al Assad and his wife Asma al Assad will visit China, Thursday.
Sources from Damascus say that Assad will hold meeting with the Chinese president Xi Jinping.
The visit will also include a number of meetings and events that will be held in the cities of Changzhou and Beijing.
The Syrian president will be accompanied by an official delegation that includes Minister of Foreign Affairs, Faisal al Miqdad, Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, Muhammad Samer al Khalil, Minister of Presidential Affairs, Mansour Azzam, Assad’s special advisor, Buthaina Shaaban, Ayman Sousan, the deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Luna al Shibl, the media advisor, Imad Mustafa, the former ambassador to China and Director of the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Assistant Head of the Planning and International Cooperation Authority, Soraya Idlibi and Muhammad Hassanein Khaddam, the Syrian Ambassador to China.
