The rebellion of the Israeli security and military leadership is expanding… 250 Mossad veterans including three former presidents join air force pilots in protests demanding an end to the war

More than 250 former employees of the Israeli foreign intelligence agency (Mossad) signed a petition calling for the return of prisoners from Gaza, even if the war of extermination on the Strip is halted.
These individuals join six petitions signed since last Thursday by active and retired reserve soldiers from various branches of the Israeli military, in what has become known in the media as the disobedience petitions.
The Israeli Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that a petition was signed by more than 250 former Mossad employees, including three former heads: Danny Yatom, Ephraim Halevy, and Tamir Pardo.
Yedioth Ahronoth added that the signatories of the petition are demanding that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government return the Israeli prisoners from Gaza, even if only by halting the war on the Palestinian enclave.
Earlier on Sunday, 200 active reserve doctors, both male and female, in various army units signed a petition demanding the return of prisoners from Gaza and an end to the war of extermination against the Palestinian enclave, according to Israeli Channel 13.
Since last Thursday, petitions have been circulating demanding the return of the captives, even if the war on Gaza is ended.
These petitions are being circulated by Israeli military personnel, ranging from reserve forces who can be called up for service to retirees, including former senior leaders.
The first was signed by approximately 1,000 Air Force personnel, and was later joined by approximately 1,000 academics at higher education institutions.
The second was signed by hundreds of soldiers from the Armored Corps and the Navy, the third by dozens of reserve military doctors, and the fourth by hundreds of soldiers from the 8200 Intelligence Unit.
The fifth was signed by hundreds of soldiers from the 8200 Intelligence Unit, and special and elite forces units such as the 13th Battalion of the Paratroopers Brigade, and the Shaldag, Sayeret Matkal, and Moran units.
The sixth petition was signed by 200 doctors from various units in the army, while the seventh was signed by 250 former Mossad members, including three former heads of the agency.
Members of the prisoners’ families also announced their support for the petitioners, who assert that the continuation of the war on Gaza serves not Israel’s security interests, but rather the personal and political interests of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government.
Meanwhile, Netanyahu, who is wanted by international justice, and his government ministers threatened to dismiss those who signed these petitions, considering them to strengthen enemies in times of war and describing them as rebellion and disobedience.
