The new British chief of staff: Russia is more dangerous to us than Al Qaeda and the Islamic State!!!

In his first interview since he took office, British Army Chief of Staff General Mark Carlton Smith said that “Russian threat to Europe’s security outweighs the threat of extremist organizations such as Al Qaeda and the Islamic State”.

According to British Sky News, General Mark Carlton Smith said that “London should develop its defense mechanisms against Moscow’s unconventional war against the West in general and the European continent in particular”.

The new British army chief of staff, who assumed the sensitive position five months ago, warned of the Russian threat to British security and allied countries, in remarks to the British newspaper the Daily Telegraph.

He explained that “Moscow is trying to exploit the gaps to launch non-conventional wars in the real and electronic space”.

“Russia has proved ready to use military force to secure and expand its own national interests.

The Russians seek to exploit vulnerability wherever they discover it”.
