The Libyan parliament threatened, on Wednesday, to seek to stop the export of oil and gas to countries that support Israel, if the war on the Gaza Strip that has been ongoing since October 7 doesn’t stop.

This came in a statement published by the Speaker of the House of Representatives (Libyan Parliament in Tripoli), Abdullah Belhaq, through his official Facebook account.

The statement said, “If the massacres committed by this Zionist enemy don’t stop, we call on the Libyan government to stop exporting oil and gas to the state that supports this entity.

In this context, the Council called in its statement on the ambassadors of countries that support Israel in its crimes against the Gaza Strip to leave Libyan territory immediately.

The statement also condemned in the strongest terms what the governments of the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Italy are doing in their support of the occupying Zionist entity in its crimes against the Gaza Strip.

The statement described the war taking place today in the Gaza Strip as a genocidal war led by the United States and the West against a defenseless and besieged people.
