The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation: 400 rockets fired from Lebanon into Israel in one day
The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that the number of rockets fired from Lebanon towards Israel exceeded 400 during the past 24 hours, in light of the escalation of the confrontation on the northern front.
On Sunday evening, the commission said that during the past 24 hours, the number of rockets fired from Lebanon towards Israel exceeded 400.
“This toll was confirmed by security officials, noting that the pace of rocket fire by Hezbollah has increased significantly over the past two days, with rockets and drones being used in attacks towards areas in northern Israel,” it added.
The Israeli army is considering intensifying military strikes in Lebanese areas near the border.
The war expanded regionally to include Lebanon last Monday, after Israel and the United States began a continuous aggression against Iran on February 28, leaving at least 1,332 martyrs, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Last Monday, Iran’s ally Hezbollah attacked a military site in northern Israel, in response to Israel’s ongoing attacks on Lebanon, despite the ceasefire agreement in force since November 2024, and its assassination of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
On the same day, Israel launched a new aggression against Lebanon, through airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut and areas in the south and east of the country, and on Tuesday began a limited ground incursion into the south.
