The Israeli army: One officer from the elite forces was killed during the battles in northern Gaza
The Israeli army announced, at dawn on Wednesday, that an officer with the rank of major from the elite forces in the engineering corps was killed during battles in the northern Gaza Strip.
The Israeli Army Radio announced though X that an officer Meron Gersh was killed during the battles in the northern Gaza Strip.
According to the Israeli Army Radio, the officer is 21 years old and is from the Petah Tikva area (central Israel), while the Israeli army didn’t provide any other details about hwo he was killed.
For its part, the channel 12 Announced through X that the officer is participating in the war on Gaza as part of the Yahalom unit, the elite in the army’s engineering corps.
On Tuesday evening, the Israeli army announced that a soldier was killed and five others were seriously injured in battles in the Gaza Strip.
