Israeli Defense Minister: Without a clear victory, we won’t be able to live in the Middle East
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant entered the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, accompanied by the Deputy Chief of Staff, to conduct an assessment of the conditions of the Israeli forces there.
Gallant said, “The feeling among some that we are on our way to stopping the fighting is wrong”.
“Without a clear victory, we won’t be able to live in the Middle East,” Gallant added.
Galant said, “In the northern Gaza Strip, we eliminated 12 Hamas battalions; What we will do operationally here are fire attacks, invasion operations, and special operations… If necessary, we will control the land for the period we decide… The goal is to exhaust the enemy, kill him, and create a reality in which we impose our control over the land”.
According to the Israeli Channel 12, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant and the Israeli Deputy Chief of Staff said during their presence in the Gaza Strip, “We’ll not stop without a clear decision in the north… the finger is on the trigger”.
