According to Yemeni sources, 6 members of the Houthis and two Lebanese Hezbollah experts were killed in the attack that targeted the al Lahiya area, north of the city of Hodeidah in Yemen, last Sunday.

A military site was targeted in Jabal Jada’ in al Lahiyah, where a missile platform was found, and a Houthi operations room in the coastal defense building in the same area was also bombed.

The Houthis accused the United States and Britain of carrying out the attack on Hodeidah, however the United States denied this accusation.

In a related context, experts from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, along with members of Hezbollah and the Houthis, transferred ballistic and naval missiles from Sanaa, which is under the control of the Houthis, to the Hodeidah Governorate on the Red Sea, in preparation for carrying out attacks on ships in the region.

This step comes as part of their plans to intensify attacks on ships and military units in the region.

The missiles are transported via trucks on the main road between Sanaa and Hodeidah.

The Houthis are seeking to escalate the situation through attacks on US battleships and commercial ships associated with the “Guardian of Prosperity” coalition.

The Hodeidah Governorate has a coastal strip that the Houthis use to fire on US ships and naval units.

It’s noteworthy that the transfer of missiles comes in the wake of an unknown bombing that targeted a site at the naval base in al Khatheeb in Hodeidah, in response to the launching of a missile by the Houthis towards the Red Sea.
