The conflict between Arab tribes and SDF in Raqqa and eastern Syrian region increasing

On Sunday evening, a car bomb exploded near the headquarters of one of SDF leaders in the province of Raqqa.
The explosion killed two civilians and wounded more than 7 others, in addition to a number of dead and wounded in the ranks of the SDF fighters, followed by heavy gunfire for several minutes.
ISIS claims its responsibility just after a few minutes from the attack without issuing any pictures or videos or even mention the exact location of the attack, where only the name of the street “Al noor st.” was mentioned, which is more than 3 kilometers long.
ISIS used to give very precise details of his operations after the publication, declaring the responsibility for the targeting headquarters of money transfer pursuant to his conscience, and said that they managed to kill and wounded about 50 SDF fighters.
The attack comes at a time when the city of Raqqa is experiencing great tension following the assassination of the member of the civil council of “SDF” “Bashir Faisal Al Huwaidi, where SDF was accused of their involvement behind the assassination after great differences between Huwaidi and SDF leadership.
Al Huwaidi is one of the leaders of “Al Afadlah”
clan in eastern Syria, who was killed a couple of days ago after being shot in his car near the children’s hospital in the city of Raqqa, which is located meters away from the headquarters of the SDF Raqqa Civil Council.
The funeral witnessed speeches by elders and tribal elders from the province of Raqqa, who considered anyone working for the SDF in the province of Raqqa to be a traitor until the circumstances of the assassination of Al Huwaidi reveal.
The assassination of Al Huwaidi could be a turning point in the position of the Arab tribes in the eastern Syria, where the position of the tribes rejecting the presence of SDF militia became clear with their being directly accused of the assassination.
SDF leaders and supporters were kicked out from Al Huwaidi funeral last Saturday in the city of Raqqa, and the positions of the Arab tribes began to appear successively, demanding that everyone working for SDF militia in the province of Raqqa will be treated a “traitor” until the circumstances of the assassination of Al Huwaidi clarified.
Since its takeover of the province of Raqqa, SDF has been counting on gaining tribal leaders to strengthen their control over the region and recruit young Arab tribes into its ranks in order to fight against ISIS.
A popular uprising has recently emerged against the continuation of its practices in the city of Raqqa.
It seems that SDF began to work on the liquidation of tribal figures opposed to them, which has been a blatant rejection of their practices and positions can affect their control, was the assassination of Al Hawidi at the center of the city with an silence gun, then put the blame on ISIS to adopt the assassination, which it seems like didn’t deceive the Arab tribes.
