On Saturday, Algerian president, Abdelmadjid Tebboune arrived in Türkiye, in an official state visit where he will meet with his Turkish counterpart to discuss several issues, and improve the Turkish Algerian relations.

According to the Turkish presidency, a meeting was held between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his Algerian counterpart Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

The bilateral meeting held on Saturday in the presidential office at the Dolmabahçe Palace in Istanbul, which lasted about two hours.

The talks dealt with bilateral relations and means of enhancing cooperation relations.

After the meeting, the two leaders chaired the enlarged meeting, with the participation of officials from both countries.

According to the Turkish presidency official statement, President Erdoğan will hold a dinner in honor of the guests after the talks.

On Thursday, the Algerian presidency said, “President Tebboune is making a working visit to sisterly Türkiye on July 21 and 22, during which he will meet his brother, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan”.
