Syrian sources reveal the true version of the targeting of Dimona, the type and target of the Syrian missile

Syrian sources confirmed and revealed that the missile that fell in the occupied territories at dawn on Thursday, is a Syrian second-generation “SAM-5” surface-to-air missile developed by the Syrian air defense personnel towards an Israeli fighter.

The sources revealed a fire clash, saying, “The target of the missile was to reach an Israeli fighter who was preparing to attack Syrian targets from outside the borders that were flying over the occupied territories”.

The sources pointed out that “the Israeli fighter was able to maneuver and avoided the missile, which completed its course at a distance of 250 km, to fall near Dimona… This means that all the occupied territories are under the range of Syrian missiles”.

Concerning the details of the operation that took place at dawn on Thursday, the sources revealed, “Two days ago, a large number of Israeli fighters were obscured by sorties similar to the offensive sorties without launching an attack, and on the third day the attack was launched with great intensity.
