Sources in the Syrian opposition: Russia will begin to annihilate Al Nusra front with international consensus

The former deputy head of the negotiating body in the Syrian opposition Khalid Al Mahamid said there is an international consensus that Russia is going to annihilate the terrorist organization of Al Nusra Front and its allies in the north of the country with the participation of Turkey within a month, while the former head of the Syrian opposition coalition, Ahmed Muaz Al Khatib, condemned the armed groups in Idlib.

Al Mahamid said that he expected next month to witness major developments in the province of Idlib, where Russia will annihilate all terrorist organizations, especially the Sham Liberation Organization (Al Nusra Front) and its allies in the north of Syria.

The operation will start within a month from now, with an international agreement on the matter, with Turkish, according to Syrian opposition websites.

Al Mahamid added: “The Russians will not hesitate to implement the plan, which must be completed, which is the plan that got international consensus, which means that there is already an agreement from the US side to finish Al Nusra Front and its allies in northern Syria with Turkey be involved in this process because they consider them dangerous to everyone, this monster controls three and a half million Syrians, and we have to get rid of it, there are children and generations graduated in that region under the regime of Al Nusra and its symbols”, as he put it.

He explained that the plan of the Russians in the finishing of Al Nusra is a strict plan and the Russian will not back down, and he pointed out that the militants of the terrorist organization who were deported from Yarmouk camp, south of Damascus and other areas to Idlib to be disposed completely once and for all.

“I think there are 15,000 non-Syrian fighters in Idlib, those who fought in Bosnia and other areas and who have a security cell, which means, that they have power and control, they have information centers, so finishing them isn’t that easy mission”, adding. Getting rid of them for good requires great power, if the Free Syrian Army or other parties in the opposition are capable to finish them, they didn’t wait to this hour to do so”.

“The Al Nusra is one of the most powerful factions, both organizational and material, so the issue of finishing them is not easy, and I don’t think that the Free Syrian Army has the ability to defeat Al Nusra Front in the north of Syria”.

Al Mahameed said: “There is a nucleus within the Nusra, this nucleus is the one who controls the issues and has foreign agendas.

We don’t want to review what has been done in all of Syria and where it has been contained.

There are personalities who were present in some countries and were transferred to Syria, Organizations mean international organization and have a great experience so we don’t underestimate the role of Al Nusra Front”.

He added: “Al Nusra controls more than 50% of the area in Idlib and we’re watching that any civilian figures who stand against them get assassinated, so Al Nusra can do anything in northern Syria”.

“Without regional power, Russia and the assistant of the Free Syrian Army factions, this epidemic will not be eliminated.

When we get rid of them, there will be the beginning of a political solution in Syria and there is the beginning of the solution, even the establishment of the constitutional committee”, he said.
