Patriot incapability in Yemen with the problems of Israel in launching effective attacks on Syria highlights the limited ability of the United States arsenals raising worries of Pentagon leaders
Syrianlizm Analysis (International news Agencies)
Concerns dominating US military leadership due to the indirect military defeats in multiple fronts at the Middle East, most recently the failed Israeli attack on Syria last Thursday, and before that in Yemen.
Israel has launched an attack on Syrian territory, and it is believed among those interested in Israel’s military capability that the attack wasn’t aimed at specific military targets but only in an attempt to regain confidence in Israeli public opinion after Moscow supplied Damascus with S-300 air defense missile system, with other radars, electronic warfare and other defense systems.
Israel didn’t cross the Syrian airspace, however fired missiles out of the Syrian airspace, and the surprise came when most of the Israeli missiles were intercepted.
As a matter of self-confidence, Damascus quickly announced the missile intercept, while in the past they used to deny or reduce the size of the attack while Israel used to rush announcing it.
In the face of Israel’s missiles, Damascus has used the B-M2A system and the Pantsir S1 systems, which are powerful in the face of short and medium-range attacks and they didn’t use the S-300.
It’s possible that Syria, in coordination with Russia, left the S-300 to face the F-35, the most advanced American aircraft in Israeli warplanes, and is said to be the most sophisticated in the world despite criticism.
The Pentagon has withdrawn all F-35 of service on October 11 until it’s reviewed.
Israel is the biggest loser, because they are no longer have the upper hand in the Middle East like it used to be in the past; however it’s clear that the biggest loser is the United States.
Now the F-16s which Israel on large number of it are no longer as effective to be used to attack Syria, with fears of that Syrians might shutdown the F-35 via S-300 system in case of any attack took place in Syria.
The United States has suffered another defeat in the Middle East.
It has become clear to military observers the lack of effectiveness of the Patriot missile system in the face of ballistic missiles fired by Houthis in Yemen against Saudi Arabia.
The called “Operation Decisive Storm” didn’t achieve its goals in Yemen, including the battles of Al Hudaydah, despite all the intelligence support and the logistics supplied by the Pentagon, which questioning the effectiveness of the US plans.
The American weapons were superior in fields of war where the other side wasn’t armed and equipped well, and after Syria acquired advanced missile systems, US weapons used by Israel along with the aircraft began to record limited effectiveness, which is also what the Patriot missile system is facing against the well engineered Iranian missiles.
The National Interest magazine has devoted multiple articles to the problems that American weapons is suffering in the Middle East after Russia began to sell sophisticated systems to some countries, led by Syria.
Now and due to the concerns controls the United States, they start to threaten all the countries not to buy Russian systems such as the S-300 or S 400 so American weapons as not face problems in the future.
