An investigative investigation conducted by the French Disclose website revealed secret documents showing that the French Thales company for the military industry, provided Israel with communication equipment for drones used by the occupation army to bomb targets in the Gaza Strip.

The investigation pointed out that the French company delivered the aforementioned equipment to Israel during 2024, contrary to what the French Ministry of Defense has repeatedly confirmed that French arms exports to Israel were limited to defensive military equipment linked to Iron Dome to counter the rockets of the Palestinian factions.

The equipment supplied by the company to Israel are transceivers designed specifically for the Hermes 900 military drones, which the army uses in its offensive operations.

According to an IDF squadron commander, these weapons were used to bomb a hospital in the Gaza Strip in February 2024.

The French Disclose website explained that Thales company acknowledged the delivery of two airborne communication systems in 2024 to the Israeli authorities.

For its part, the company defended this decision, claiming that this equipment doesn’t allow the operation of a lethal military system, while the site pointed out that the French Ministry of Defense didn’t respond to questions posed to it in this regard.

The French website also noted that French customs prohibit the export of 6 transponders designed for Israeli military drones.

The same investigative website conducted an investigative report, published in March, which revealed that Paris at the end of October allowed Israel to hand over at least 100,000 machine gun ammunition that the Israeli army is likely to use against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.

According to the investigation, the shipment was secretly sent on October 23, about two weeks after the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, from the city of Marseille via the French Eurolinx company, which specializes in the manufacture of military equipment, which contradicts the commitments of the French government.
