Russia’s Iskander system worries Ukraine and NATO
Russia’s Iskander operational and tactical complexes are putting NATO countries and Ukraine in a state of panic.
The Russian forces successfully used these weapons during the war in Ukraine, as this missile system played an important role in the situation at the front.
In March, US officials discovered that Russian forces were launching booby traps against Ukraine that tricked air defense radars and heat-seeking missiles.
Ukrainian troops are literally confused, thanks to these very baits.
Previously, military experts hadn’t encountered such techniques.
The publication concluded that the use of booby traps doesn’t allow Ukrainian air defense systems to intercept Russian Iskander missiles.
