Russia: Our goals in Ukraine can only be achieved by military force due to the position of the Kiev regime

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday that Kiev’s position means Russia’s goals in Ukraine can only be achieved through military force, Russian state news agencies reported.
“We’ve to achieve our goals, and this is only possible by military means at the moment due to the current position of the Kiev regime,” Peskov said.
Russia announced that, the operation is fighting to liberate Russian-speakers in Donbas, in eastern Ukraine, from the neo-Nazi regime ruling in Kiev.
Ukraine and the West say that this is a baseless pretext aimed at justifying Moscow’s war of aggression and its attempts to seize vast areas of Ukrainian lands.
Moscow blamed Kiev for the collapse of ceasefire talks, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he wouldn’t consider any peaceful settlement to the conflict until Russian forces left his country.
In turn, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Tuesday, that there is terrible hatred for Russia in Western countries, and they threaten direct confrontation.
This came during the minister’s speech at the opening of the founding conference of the “Russia Lovers” movement in Moscow, where the minister continued that Europe is behaving according to American dictates, and the West is trying to impose its values and rules on everyone and is trying to demonize Russia and hold it responsible for all the tragedies in the world.
Lavrov said that the current stage is fraught with turmoil and dangers.
The Russian Foreign Minister pointed out that Nazism is clearly hanging over European countries today.
Lavrov stressed that Russia doesn’t cooperate with anyone against anyone, and we don’t ask anyone to take any specific position.
Lavrov continued, “We’re adults, and everyone can have their own independent opinions and take their positions”.
The following are the most prominent statements of the Russian Foreign Minister: We know that the United States and the Anglo-Saxons have taken control into their own hands, and they are telling the Europeans that there is no place for an independent European strategy.
Lavrov to the founders of the “Russian Lovers” movement: Your visit in these critical times is a challenge to Western hegemony.
Lavrov: It’s the policies of the West that cause famines and high energy prices, then they accuse us of that.
Lavrov: We don’t mobilize anyone for war against the West, or against the Crusades, or anything else… Rather, they force us to war… We didn’t obstruct anyone’s efforts to reach their interests by legitimate means, but rather we repel aggression and defend our people and our interests.
Lavrov: Creating alliances like AUKUS, which is an invitation for long time clash.
