Russia is preparing to export more than 65 million tons of grain after a record harvest

The Russian Minister of Agriculture, Dmitry Patrushev, announced that Russia intends to export more than 65 million tons of grains after a record harvest estimated at 151 million tons of grains and legumes.

This production includes about 99 million tons of wheat.

Patrushev noted that Russia will be able to meet its internal needs and increase its shipments to foreign partners in record quantities.

This comes after Russia ended the previous season with record exports of 60 million tons.

The Russian Minister of Agriculture explained that Russia achieved the second largest harvest in its history during the current season, with an increase in the production of many other agricultural products, such as rice and potatoes, during the year 2023.
