Russia intends to compile a list of foreign countries that are not friendly
Russian President Vladimir Putin intends to prepare a list of “unfriendly foreign countries”.
A Kremlin statement released on Friday evening said that there is an arrangement to impose restrictions on their diplomatic missions in Moscow.
The statement added that the appointment of personnel in diplomatic missions and other state institutions in Russia should be a limited number, indicating that “if necessary,” it must also be possible to impose a complete ban on employment within these official institutions.
Putin had tasked the Russian government with preparing a list of foreign countries to which these restrictions should apply.
In addition, the number of employees with whom the relevant diplomatic missions can still conclude employment contracts must be specified.
