Republican Party wins majority in Senate after gaining 52 seats

The Republican Party won the Senate elections, where it managed to obtain 52 seats, which deprived the Democrats of control of the council.
The current distribution of seats in the US Senate is tilted in favor of Republicans, who control 52 seats compared to 42 for Democratic advisers.
According to US law, if the votes are tied when voting on bills in the Senate, the Vice President of the United States intervenes to have the final vote, as he also serves as President of the Senate.
In the House of Representatives elections, Republicans are also ahead, as they are expected to win 204 seats out of 435, while Democrats will get only 182 seats.
On November 5, the United States also witnessed a heated presidential election, with former US President Donald Trump competing for the Republican Party, while current Vice President Kamala Harris represents the Democratic Party.
In addition to the presidential election, elections were also held to renew the entire House of Representatives, several states governors, in addition to the election of 33 senators, representing one-third of the chamber’s seats.
