Reports: Iran might be tested a nuclear bomb in the desert
Reports circulated in the media saying that Iran conducted its first military nuclear test, and carried out a nuclear explosion in the country’s desert, which is considered a very advanced stage, and on the verge of making a nuclear bomb.
Some leaks link the earthquake that the residents of Tehran and Iranian provinces felt last week with the nuclear test, that this earthquake was not a natural earthquake but rather the result of a nuclear explosion during an experiment to convert highly enriched uranium into a nuclear state for weapons purposes.
CIA Director William Burns said that Iran could need a week to produce a nuclear bomb.
Burns told NBC, “Iran is much closer to producing a nuclear bomb and the risks are rising”.
According to experts, the nuclear explosion experiment doesn’t mean that Iran has possessed a nuclear bomb, because converting nuclear energy into warheads, bombs and offensive weapons requires time.
However, according to experts, it’s undoubtedly a very advanced step and precedes the shift towards a military nuclear program.
Iran hasn’t yet acknowledged, discussed or commented on these leaks, and has a commitment linked to the fatwa of the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei prohibiting the production and use of nuclear weapons due to their harm to humans and nature.
However, demands are increasing day by day for Iran to amend this religious legislation due to the legal requirements that require amending the religious legislation with the country’s fate being exposed to attack by Israel and the United States, and that this weapon will serve as a safety net and protection for the Iranian people from the Israeli threats and intentions that have become public to target Iran, and Netanyahu and the extremist criminal pillars of his government have said that their primary target is Iran.
Accordingly, the hypothesis of the Supreme Leader announcing the amendment of the “Fatwa” and declaring Iran a nuclear state cannot be ruled out.
This will be a slap in the face to Israel and the United States behind it.
These leaks are the reason for the change in tone in Israel from calling for striking Iranian nuclear and oil facilities as a minimum, to searching for options below that ceiling, and starting to talk about military targets or targets outside Iran that would strike Iranian interests.
