One member of the Khashoggi assassination team was killed in a traffic accident!!
A Saudi air force lieutenant, Mishal Saad Al Bustani, 31, was killed in a traffic accident in Riyadh after returning from Istanbul on Tuesday evening, the Turkish newspaper “Yeni Shafak” reported on Thursday.
According to the newspaper close to the Turkish government, Lieutenant Al Bustani was in Istanbul and returned after the liquidation of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, asserting that the latter is one of the 15 Saudis were inside the consulate during the presence of Khashoggi there.
The newspaper quoted unnamed sources as saying that “Riyadh silenced the first person accused of the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi”.
A team of 15 Saudis, most of them working in the security and military services, including Lieutenant Al Bustani, arrived at Istanbul’s Ataturk airport on the morning of 2 October, the same day Khashoggi entered his consulate in Istanbul and has not left since then, he himself was inside the consulate during Khashoggi’s presence.
According to the newspaper, the traffic accident that claimed the life of the gardener is not a coincidence, and a liquidation of the team that is responsible for the killing of journalist Khashoggi is likely to begin.
