More about the hypersonic missile which the Houthis used to target Israel

The leader of the Houthis “Ansar Allah” group in Yemen, Abdul Malik al Houthi, vowed on Sunday to continue military operations against Israel, saying, “What is coming is greater”.

This came in a speech on Houthi TV, Masirah channel, which he commented on the missile attack on Israel, on Sunday.

Houthi said, “Our operation today (Sunday) against Israel was carried out with a high-tech missile that bypassed the enemy’s systems and reached a distance estimated at 2,040 km”.

He added, “Our military operations will continue against the Zionists as long as the aggression and siege on Gaza continue… We’ll continue to coordinate with the axis of jihad and resistance, and the future is greater, God willing”.

At the beginning of his speech, Abdul Malik al Houthi praised the popular attendance out of love for the Messenger of God on the day of his blessed birth, stressing that its unparalleled on earth, addressing the millions of Yemeni people by saying, “You’ve held the greatest celebration on earth for the greatest and most noble human being, and rejoicing and jubilant with God’s grace, favor, and mercy”.

The spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced on Sunday that the missile force of the Yemeni Armed Forces had struck an Israeli military target Tel Aviv area.

Saree revealed that the operation was carried out using a new hypersonic ballistic missile, confirming the missile’s success in reaching its targets and the failure of the Israeli defenses to intercept and confront it, as it covered a distance estimated at 2,040 km, within 11 and a half minutes.

Saree pointed out that the launch of the missile from Yemen caused a state of fear and panic among the Zionists, as more than two million Zionists headed to shelters for the first time in the history of the Israeli enemy.

The Israeli media reported that initial investigations by the Israeli Air Force found that the Arrow air defense system, despite hitting the ballistic missile launched by the Houthi group from Yemen on Sunday morning, was unable to completely destroy it.

Earlier on Sunday, the Israeli army said it had opened an investigation into the performance of its air defense systems in confronting a surface-to-surface ballistic missile launched from Yemen that fell in central Israel.
