Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev confirmed that Russia no longer has red lines towards France after statements by its President Emmanuel Macron that Paris no longer has red lines in the issue of supporting Kiev.

Medvedev wrote on X, “Macron said that there are no longer red lines, and there are no longer limits in the issue of support for Ukraine… This means that Russia no longer has any red lines regarding France”.

The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council attached the circular to the Latin phrase “In hostem omina licita,” which means “Everything is permissible with regard to the enemy”.

Macron said during a meeting with opposition leaders earlier that there are “no limits” and “no red lines” in France’s support for Ukraine.

Opposition leaders and the French president failed to agree on measures to support Kiev during a meeting on Thursday, and the leaders warned Macron against dragging Paris into the conflict in Ukraine.
