Leaked email from Jared Kushner reveal “secret” information about the “Deal of the Century”

Foreign Policy magazine published a secret document that reveals a new part of the “Deal of the Century” that will be announced by the administration of US President Donald Trump after the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

According to the letter, which is an email sent by Jared Kushner, Trump’s adviser, on 11 January 2018, he stressed the need to dissolve the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), and to end supporting it.

“Our goal is not to keep things as they are but to improve them dramatically and to achieve this goal we have to risk breaking other things”, Kushner said in his message.

In the White House, Kushner promoted the idea of stopping aid to Palestinians, canceling UNRWA’s work in the Arab territories, absorbing Palestinian refugees in those countries where they reside, and persuading the PA to take responsibility for Palestinians living in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.

In his email, which he sent to senior White House officials, he explained that UNRWA should be resolved as “corrupt” and not contribute to the settlement process in the region.

The magazine didn’t fully published Kushner’s secret email, which shows clear intentions of the US envoy in the Middle East, about taking the most sensitive issues – the right of return, which divides the Palestinians and the Israelis – and reflects the US administration’s position on the issue.

Jared Kushner, told a group of ambassadors that the deal would be announced after the end of Ramadan, after Israel formed a coalition government following Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s election victory.

Earlier, US State Department counterterrorism coordinator Nathan Sales said his country was taking preventive measures in anticipation of opposing the US plan known as the “Deal of the Century”.

State Department counterterrorism coordinator Nathan Sales didn’t elaborate on the nature of the measures.
