Jared Kushner: The “Deal of the Century” will be announced after Ramadan and the peace proposal in the Middle East requires concessions from both sides
US President Donald Trump’s adviser and his son-in law, Jared Kushner, said on Wednesday that “the deal of the century will be announced after the month of Ramadan”.
“The peace proposal in the Middle East requires concessions from the Palestinian and Israeli sides”, Kushner who is also playing the role of the US envoy for peace process in the middle east was quoted by US channels as saying.
Kushner urged “a group of ambassadors in Washington to be open-minded about the proposed US President Donald Trump’s proposal for peace in the Middle East”, known as the “Deal of the Century”.
The peace plan will be announced after the formation of a coalition government, following the victory of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu elections, and after the end of the month of Ramadan in early June, according to the same source.
“We’ll all have to consider reasonable concessions that will make peace possible”, Kushner said.
It is worth mentioning that the month of fasting for Muslims, the month of Ramadan according to the Islamic calendar begins in early May and ends in early June.
