The Israeli Channel 14 reported that two Israelis were killed and dozens were wounded in the latest Iranian missile attack.

Israel witnessed a broad military escalation on Tuesday evening and early Wednesday after Iran carried out a massive missile attack, which led to the sound of sirens in Jerusalem and its surroundings, the areas of the north and center of the country and southern Israel.

According to field reports, powerful explosions were heard in the skies of Jerusalem as a result of attempts to intercept the rockets, amid a wide state of alert and intensive preparations by air defense systems.

The two Israelis were killed in the Ramat Gan area, at a time when rockets and explosive bombs fell in Tel Aviv.

Israeli media reported that a number of Israelis were injured in 8 different locations within the Greater Tel Aviv area, as a result of the recent rocket attack.

Israeli media reports reported that rockets and shrapnel fell in the central area, which led to material damage and the outbreak of fires in a number of locations, amid a large movement of fire and rescue teams to the crash sites.

Preliminary data indicated that injuries were recorded in Petah Tikva and in Bnei Brak, while there were reports of people stranded in Ramat Gan that rescue crews are working to reach.

Ambulance and emergency teams reportedly rushed to multiple locations to deal with the injured and assess the extent of the damage.

The impact of the attack extended to the greater Tel Aviv area, the coastal plain and the Sharon, where initial reports spoke of injuries and material damage in several locations within Gush Dan, in addition to a rocket landing in Petah Tikva and smoke rising from various locations, including a train station.

Ambulance and fire brigades also went to several points in central Israel following the fall of rocket fragments.

Israeli media reported that some of the rockets used were of the fission type, while the home front announced a second early warning in anticipation of a new wave of attacks.

The Iranian bombardment coincided with a large-scale missile attack by Hezbollah from Lebanon towards northern Israel, where sirens continued in the Upper Galilee and northern regions, while air defense systems continued to intercept threats.

The home front had earlier reported that rockets were fired from Iran towards Tel Aviv and its environs, Beersheba and the Negev region.
