On Friday two Israelis have been indicted for carrying out security missions for Iranian entities in exchange for receiving money.

The Israeli Channel 12 reported that two Israelis were accused of carrying out security tasks for security agencies.

The indictment was filed against Israel Lefkovich (20) and Oral Mitan (25), both from the settlement of Modi’in Illit.

The indictment was filed in the Lod Central Court against the Israeli defendants on charges of communicating with “a foreign agent and leaking information to the enemy”.

The defendants have maintained constant contact with Iranian agents for about a month since the beginning of the year, sending a list of checkpoints and photographing the home of a retired IDF colonel.

The defendants obtained more than $1,000 from customers, which were transferred to their e-wallets.
