Israeli writer: This is the hidden truth behind Trump’s surprising controversial statements
Israeli writer Uriel Daskal said that US President Donald Trump seeks, through his statements regarding the Gaza Strip, to divert attention from the radical changes taking place within the US federal government, not control over Gaza or the transfer of the Palestinian population.
Daskal wrote in the Israeli Walla website, that Trump is relying on a media strategy developed by his former advisor Steve Bannon, based on flooding the media with sensational news to distract attention from more important issues.
Daskal continued, “among these sensational proposals launched by Trump were the idea of buying Greenland, occupying Panama, and displacing the Palestinians”.
Daskal explained that “these unrealistic proposals aim to distract the media from the profound changes taking place in Washington”.
He stated that the Trump administration, with the support of billionaire Elon Musk, is carrying out a systematic and rapid dismantling of the US government and intelligence agencies, noting that “Musk and his team have taken control of US financial data systems, eliminated sensitive security protocols, fired senior officials, and shut down an entire government agency”.
Daskal warned that these measures are being carried out without adequate oversight, raising serious concerns about the future of US national security.
He noted that one of the most dangerous developments is the attack on US intelligence agencies, as the Trump administration sent emails to employees of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) offering them compensation in exchange for resignation, in an attempt to weaken these vital security agencies.
The Israeli writer added that Trump is now demanding the disclosure of the identities of the federal agents who investigated the storming of Congress on January 6, 2021, which exposes them and their families to grave danger, considering that these measures pose a major threat to US internal security.
He stressed that “what is happening in Washington isn’t just a political conflict, but rather a radical restructuring of the US government that may affect global security, including Israel”.
The writer stressed that “Trump and Musk’s continued implementation of their extremist vision could lead to a new era of political chaos, where large corporations control countries and governments are dismantled in favor of the wealthiest few”.
