Officials in the Israeli Ministry of Security said that Iran is working to deploy a network of radars in Syria to warn of an Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear sites.
According to Israeli officials, the radars will be located in Syria.
They mentioned that Iran is working to install surface-to-air missile batteries in order to form a complementary arm to the readiness for an Israeli attack in Iran.
The Israeli Walla website, quoting Israeli officials, stated that the Iranians understood that the vision of the former Quds Force commander, Qassem Soleimani, regarding establishing a military base and concentrating forces on Syrian territory, won’t be implemented, due to the activities of the Israeli army within the framework of the battle between wars.
Over the past year, the Iranians have tried to change strategy, including through efforts to gather information in advance about an Israeli attack and to prepare for it.
